The Court Scene last Friday! Newest Scoop!

*As newcomers and frequents to the Elysium alike both notice that strange occurences might have taken place there, as the front lobby is still being "renovated", and certain "repairs" are being made. It apears the Harpies are at it again, filling in the information gaps with countless chatter about "the latest scoop". One of the Harpies shares her scoop gleefully*

So I hear that Morghoul actually attacked Elysium! Can you believe it?! Not only did he have ugly statues attack the guards, but he had the GUTS to wear that ugly red armor and trenchcoat! Egads! How barbarically old fashioned... thats so yesterdays news. Anyway, so he blew his way into the meeting chambers, and confronted the Prince, renouncing her in this city, and claiming he would be Prince right? Oh hell, all hell broke loose! Right! Lightning bolts flew through Elysia, and it was supposedly a battle of the titans..... well... our Prince might need some hints on how to survive a battle, since you dont survive one with your ass on the floor, but at least others were there who helped her. So the Seneschal and the Foreigner engaged him directly in battle, and it seems that the Seneschal had delivered Kaleed a horrible wound, when the Foreigner, this strange "Shinigami", whatever that is, managed to land the killing blow. Heh, a waste of good leather if you ask me, but oh well, too bad so sad right? I hear that the Brujah Primogen showed he was able to dish out more then just trouble.... he apparently destroyed one of those statue servants with a single blow! Maybe he actually IS worth something......

So the dust settled I guess, and they all began to talk, blah blah blah, and some interesting stuff came up. The Prince announced that the Chantry that Kaleed had created is considered Rogue, and that the Tremere no longer will be represented by a Primogen in Los Angeles, until those conniving little book reading D&D geeks can finally show that they can work FOR the Camarilla, and not against it. Seriously guys, it takes more then a D20 and a set of spellbooks to impress a girl.. maybe get out and look into the REAL world where real people converse.

So moving on.... the next topic was about how the Malkavian Primogen was all captured and helpless in her own Club by some demon. Heh, damsel in distress possibly, but she has a nice voice I could listen to all night. Anyway, so that strange foreigner again spoke about how he and this new guy Nosferatu named.. Jazzz..... Jazzman... Jessup! Yeah Jessup... so this Foreigner and Jessup both went to help her... and they fought with her against one of those demonic minions. Apparently the strange asian used a "ward" or some such to keep the Primogen from being harassed by further demonic influences. However.... we were warned to keep our eyes open... maybe other demonic minions are in the city. Ugh, gives me the creeps... I hope we arent getting backlash Karma from all those Goth geeks who tried to summon Satan in graveyards.... people.. GOTH IS DEAD!

So what was mentioned next.... oh yeah! This attempt made on the Princes life by the Inquisition. We were warned to be careful, masquerade and all that. The Sherriff and Prince both gave out a warning that we need to be more careful with the masquerade now more then ever, and to report any of these "vampire hunter" sightings to the Sherriff. Oh come on people, seriously. How hard is it to keep your identity secret? Please, this isnt a game of "show and tell", its more of a game of "hide and go seek"... just keep hiding and don't let yourself be sought.

Ok, on the last bit on that evening... I tell you that court was a real mouthful.... it seems we need to fess up and get organised! There might be some sort of Sabbat attack in the future, and we need to be ready to defend like good little soldiers. Oh noes! I hope they dont burn down the gallery in Santa Monica! Anyways, so we are encouraged to form Coteries and get organised to protect the city.... all that about being careful.
