Abandoned Homestead

The farmhouse was a simple thing, windows broken in, the front entrance door coming off the hinges. The thing looked more like a barn, with the hayloft and everything, than an actual farmhouse. But one could tell by the interior the horse stalls had been removed and there still sat an old rusted out broken down tractor on the inside, along with various knick knacks. It was set in a field off of I-8, just inside of El Cajon city limits. A large open field surrounded it overgrown with wild foliage. The actual farmhouse sat two acres back from the road and more decrepit than the barn which was only slightly in front of it.
