The Caw and Crow |
|
"Do harpies not make such beautiful chattering when they caw and crow?
They are Aesop's grasshopper, a wonderful evaluation of the capabilities of one to whom unlife is a thing of summers and gossip.
How powerful they must feel to wield words as weapons? So sleek? So edged? so powerful? In a sect whose very laws forbid physical injury upon the weaker, less capable individuals, they rely upon razored tongues and the aspects of prestation to not only allow them an arena in the vocal community, but to allow them to hide behind their pseudonyms.
How 'creative' you are 'Harpy Numero Uno' and how amazingly perceptive you are! A Broadsword! On the grounds of beloved Elysia! The controversy! The Horror! Propriety demands compensation! "Oh No's!"
Bah.
It is a statement of how a well-oiled machine can be ground into complacency and trivial pursuits by the chattering of animals ashamed of face.
But as reasoned entities we must accept the crowing and childish behavior for what it is. A simple diversion.
The creature does not harp on how Sabbat have made news headlines..now multiple times. The creature does not harp on the presentation of Elysia's rules enforcement anon the time it had been 'broken'.
The Easterner was displeased, so we try to make the show of solidarity which does not exist due to these quite senseless individuals.
But, as mentioned previously, Aesop's Grasshopper they are.
Winter is coming.
Soon."
So you openly admit that you break Elysium rules. A big Shame and the Tremere had such respect in the city and to have you as their Primogen is a let down for us all. I think that the Tremere need to re-think who they have in the Primogen seat and quickly replace the current one but for now Kaleed you shall be known among the Harpies as Ballsy and rule Breaker.
Harpy Numero Uno
Oh now might I please add on....This network of grasshoppers soon swoon off to be such busy bodies of hard work here. For the well oiled Machine of our Well Redound Tremere Clan what childish games you play among these nights with your Broadsword in display. The Ballsy Rule Breaker needs a 'Baby Sitter' to follow behind with the tissues, wiping the nose of the gothic child carrying on and boohooing

Oh but Maybe There Is Hope! |
|
"Amongst the Harpies? You titter incessantly, childe. You would like to claim their are multiples of individuals all capable of such useless blathering?
To think the sheer idiocy of that statement actually seemed to do psychological damage to those whom heard it.
The lone chick clucks and clucks.
'Ballsy', a euphemism for Bravery is it not?
'Rule Breaker', Oh please don't tell anyone. They might find out that a rule has been broken, or that the matter had been settled. May the divines you worship grant me reprieve from such vindictive and scathing remarks!
Anything but 'Ballsy' and 'Rule-Breaker'! Oh No's! Oh this is terrible!
Your childish slurs serve only to heighten the fact that you are incapable of reasoned argument or debate. Were harpies not renowned for their crafting of words and verbal discourse? Is it not folly to attempt to match wits with such a hidden agent for fear of all the innuendo, clever replies and witty retorts?
Why than, you must be the 'Harpy in training', would that be sufficient, childe? is that another moniker! Do you see how I have used my inflection thusly? To suggest quotations upon my speech, as if I was attempting to offer you a new moniker? I must be a Harpy myself to come up with such cleverly crafted word play and insults!
And my fellow Kindred, we have heard the extreme capability this one has displayed with words and speech. It has cut me to the quick! And I daresay it has requested a meeting with me? Does it feel my time would be used educating the little one in correct grammar and offering lessons in acceptable retorts for undead creatures centuries old?
It disgusts me. If the rumor mill is more of a factory of dyslexic juvenile 'name-calling', do we truly need such a creature offering praise or condemnation unto us?
Consider that, Elysium.
-The Ballsy Rule-Breaker"
Who sees the hope behind the nick-name? As you define 'Balls' "a euphemism for Bravery". Just oh my Maybe There Is Hope.
Take It For What's It's Worth *Wipes the Tremere's Nose a bit.*
