This is the staff of UT. Please respect these STs for there time and effort.

Also – There is a policy on this chat whereby STs are required to take time off from the chat each week. This is to allow them the chance to get away from the “chat work” and also to enjoy time as a player themselves. If you know the PC/NPCs logins of STs and Admins, this does not give you license to PM them when you see them online. Admins and STs are not to be interrupted when they are in players skins, for any reason. You may send them PMs when they are on the chat in their official capacity in blues as Admin/ST (unless they are in the middle of a scene and have specifically asked not to be PMed).

What does the Admin do?

The Admin is responsible for handling the various administrative tasks of the chat. If you’re having trouble accessing the chat or the forums, they are the ones to contact. The Admin may monitor rooms to ensure that the chat regulations are being followed. He/She is also the one to approach if you have an OOC conflict with another player. As expected, he/she has the ability to use the disciplinary system and boot people off the chat if they feel the situation warrants it, as well as the ability to desanction characters and even to ban a person from the chat altogether.

What does the Admin not do?

The Admin does not run scenes, sanction characters, handle experience, equipment and/or renown requests, or handle IC conflicts, nor is he/she here to baby-sit.

What does the HST do?

The HST may monitor rooms to ensure that the chat regulations are being followed. The HST takes on and insures that each venue is being run with inspiration, plots, schemes and mysteries. Insuring the over all best interest for the chat as a whole. He/She is also the one to approach if you have an OOC conflict with another player. The HST will run scenes, sanction characters, handle experience, blue bookings, equipment and/or renown requests, or handle IC conflicts in direct conjunction with the Venue ST/s. If you’re having trouble accessing the chat or the forums, they are the ones to contact. As expected, he/she has the ability to use the disciplinary system and boot people off the chat if they feel the situation warrants it, as well as the ability to desanction characters and even to ban a person from the chat altogether.

What do the Storytellers do?
The STs are here to move the meta-plot and storylines forward. They will be running scenes on the chat, controlling NPCs, sanctioning characters, handling experience and equipment requests, blue bookings as well as general monitoring of the rooms to ensure the regulations of the chat are followed. They are also here to settle IC disputes, handle problems and answer questions. As on other online chats, they have the ability to use the disciplinary system, boot people off the chat if they feel the situation warrants it, as well as the ability to de-sanction characters and in extreme cases, they can ask the Admin to ban a person from the chat altogether.

What do the Storytellers not do?
The STs are not here to provide you with scenes/entertainment whenever and however you wish, nor are they here to baby-sit. They are not to be considered “on-call” whenever you need answers or sanctioning. Please be considerate – they are not here to be at players `beck and call`. The STs will do their utmost to assist players in a timely fashion, but be aware that there are far more players than STs, so be patient.

What kinds of questions are appropriate to ask the Storytellers?

If you have a ‘rules’ question, please look the rule up yourself. Also, be sure and look at the House Rules to see if your question is answered there. If you simply cannot find the answer or something is still unclear, you may PM an ST [For the most part any ST will do for this] asking about a rule. If you have a question about the setting, please read the Setting Information first to make sure the question is not answered there. You may also ask STs Questions about actions you wish your character to perform, information your character is attempting to obtain, etc.

In most cases, FPMs are a better way of asking questions than barraging STs with PMs. There may also be times when STs Hold Q&A sessions, and you are encouraged to attend those to get your questions answered.

What books do I need to own in order to be able to play?

The books you must own and that we recommend are as follows. These are as well listed at the top of each character creation thread. The Core books and Guide Books for the venue you are playing in. For the Vampire system - [VtM Core + Vampire Players guide]. The books that we recommend are the Guide Book and VtM Storytellers Handbook. [VtM Core + Guide to the Camarilla/Sabbat/The Anarchs + Vampire Storytellers Companion]. For the Garou System [WtA (Revised Edition) + Players guide + Appropriate Tribe Book] Yes, we do require you to own the book [PDFs are acceptable] – if it’s discovered you don’t have the book, your character will be de-sanctioned and you will be given two weeks to purchase the book before your character is deleted so as to make room for someone else. If you cannot find a physical hard copy, White Wolf has most of its old World of Darkness books available for purchase online at Drive Thru RPG. Various other supplemental books are helpful, but not required.

Post Camarilla Asst Reply with quote
Sanguine Chalice our Camarilla Asst. ST has informed me that she is stepping down from her position due to some technical issues and time she's able to access and get onto the chat. She's been a great help and contributed wonderfully to this chat, it's appearance and success. The political Camarilla game will continue as Sanguine brought that in to begin on the rise of things with the population of active PCs as well as the Warrens established. There will always been a place for this ST here should she ever come back to the game.

We will miss you Sanguine Chalice!
Thank You for Everything!
