Welcome Clan Tremere Only; to the The Chantry of the Iron Soul

Only those of the Tremere Clan know where this hidden Chantry is located, and reside there. The Chantry of the Iron Soul is under the rule of Regent Magnus Greifenwald and his new regime.

-Description-

Outside:
The looming old steel factory that was abandoned in the early fifties in Los Angeles, after loosing business to competitors, stands free and strong like a dark, foreboding monolith in the Los Angeles hillside. The city will claim that it was bought for a new renovation project, but mysteriously, no one can find the damn papers for it. Indeed, often one sees scaffolds and construction equipment lying around, but nights it is simply a quiet, abandoned old steel plant. The ghosts of ages past must cling to such a structure, and a few rust spots here and there on girders give it an old, and yet strong character... something built to endure, to resist the ages.

Main Level:
Once one is granted entrance to the main level of the abandoned building, one finds the old conveyor belts, and machinery, lying dormant in the assemblies... and a few old graffities on the wall. Those with knowledge of the Tremere, and the ability to see beyond the obvious, find the Tremere symbol hidden within these graffities, pointing out to an old freight elevator. The whole atmosphere creates a very spooky "Silent Hill" feeling to it, where one constantly has this feeling of being watched, and swears to see movement out of the corner of the eye, and once one manages to enter the elevator, the buttons seem to be "shorted out" and inoperable. However, if one has permission, entrance to the Chantry itself is granted....

The Chantry Proper:
Finally the doors open in a sub basement below the factory, to a long corridor that splits at multiple intersections. The floor is smooth cement, the walls carved almost effortlessly by some strange magics. Each intersection is greeted with multiple symbols that represent mathematical figures and arcane symbols on the walls along the edges, the floors, and the ceilings. Sometimes, in passing, the symbols glow and pulsate an eerie crimson light. The lighting is dim, almost as if it ran off of auxiliary power, and lamps are scarce, to keep the mood industrial, and dark. There is a lounge somewhere that is found, fully furnished with sufficient lighting, grey carpeting, comfortable couches, tables, and of course, bookcases filled with the latest "must read" material for any young Tremere, or even up and coming ghouls, as these works are simply for "free time" use, and are often fictional works. Near the lounge is the kitchen, which not only supports a good supply of vitae, which is restalked now and then from an out of town blood bank, but also supports the chantry's "servants" as well with nourishment. There are a total of seven fully stocked, sound proof laboratories for experimentation, and development of blood magics in practice. Of course, the use of said Labs require the permission of the Regent. A large underground Tremere library, filled with vast amounts of arcane works, from the must have, to the peculiar, with sufficient comfortable seating possibilities with reading lights and tables, is not found far from the small handful of conference rooms and studies. There is a lecture hall, not far from the library, which is set up like an old underground crescent shaped amphitheater, in which multiple students may sit and listen to the Regents teachings. Of course, there is also the "Ritual Chamber", an old underground, completely circular amphitheater, which, in the center, has an old vat that was transported down from the factory proper, once used to melt some of the earths hardest metals into a liquid form, now it is used for various blood rituals. Opposite of the entrance into this chamber, and across from the vat, which is built into the floor, is a podest, where the Regent guides the rituals that are held here. Somewhere down here is a very well lit underground gym, and right across from that, a firing range, so that those who wish to further themselves in physical knowledges, are welcome to. Finally, last but not least, there are the quarters. Here one finds the quarters from the chantries servants, as well as the quarters of the chantry members. Each member has their own living quarter, and only they have the key to it. Somewhere in the center of all these quarters, is the Regents own living quarters, arranged at the epicenter of the cluster, being the mentor over all. Hidden somewhere in all this, is the security room.
