Unholy Trinity Merits & Flaws House Ruling System

Please, read the books, there are several listed in any and all books imaginable. Get your ideas, however, only the main books of merits and flaws will be allowed for all characters both Vampire and Garou. Those listed in the clan books are reserved for that specific clan only. The list below is presented to show you what is restricted or banned:

(R) = restricted (Requires background)
(HR) = Heavily Restricted (Requires detailed background)
(B) = banned (Which will not be sanctioned)

Sanctity Merit is now HIGHLY restricted.

please also note that in this amendment, anyone falling below H5 automatically gets the sanctity merit put on hold. It will no longer work until Humanity 7 is retained or a path that is acceptable to have it.

The only acceptable paths are Honorable accord (which may retain the merit as soo as rating of 4 is reached) or Path of golcoda (which takes effect immediately, but since this path is not in play,, guess you are out of luck here.). So please remember this new rule when using the sanctity merit.

The HST and ST's HAVE FINAL WORD on allowing or disallowing merits and flaws, don’t like that, too bad.

Merits and Flaws are limited to max of 3 points each, higher allowances will be considered with exceptional reasoning and background. Please remember, we limit certain merits and flaws because they tend to be overly used thus takes away from their purpose. Merits or flaws set in a specific sect or clan are only for that sect or clan character types. Merits and Flaws are only from the 3rd edition revised Vampire books. Sect and Clan specific are only for those Sects and clans.

This also means that just because you are blood bound or have diablarized that specific clan is not a reason for you to possess those merits or flaws [/b]

Nowhere in the books is Sanctity tied to only a few Paths/Humanity & the mention of where you are on a Path is also not mentioned. Could the reasoning behind the House Ruling on that be explained?

It's probably because Sanctity states that the character looks pure and innocent. That doesn't jive with the fact that anyone Humanity 4 or below is perceived by others as "unstable, twitchy, or creepy" with even the briefest of interaction (page 21 Chaining the Beast). Path Followers are much worse. You can't look pure and innocent when you're almost to the level of a serial killer.

I think BigPoppa's thing is understandable.It is a saintlike quality not a proclivity to act in a saintly manner.It even uses the line "You are trusted,even if your not trustworthy.". And Bomb it says everyone considers you pure and innocent not that you are or look like it.It is an ST discretion merit (not even THAT cool I think lol)so everything is just idle conjecture I just see where Big P is coming from.How many peeps could be trying to be monsters hiding in an angelic mien anyway?
