ViraTek Corporate offices burn down

The city of San Diego was shocked today when the ViraTek corporate offices exploded in an aparent terrorist attack.. the DHS and FBI as of yet have no leads in what terrorist group or who could have been involved..

The Vampire community get an extra shock in discovering that the remains of several vampires and their ghouls were found in the building as well.. so confermed by the local Giovanni Isobella.. something is out there.. and its killing vamps it seems.. and taking out quite a few mortals in the process too...

Now I'm not the smartest crayon in the box at all times, but what exactly does an explosion in San Antonio, Texas have to do with the kindred in CALIFORNIA, when only the kindred in San Antonio know about it? 1355 miles, according to mapquest, is a bit of a distance for general word of mouth to get that far.
