-TJ- Tijuana loses Civilian High Court. |
|
~ On Mexican Television ~
Earlier this afternoon, the State Government of Baja California has relieved the Civilian Court in Tijuana of its predominating position in the Northern area of the State. The Civilian Court of Roserita, the coastal city to the South of Tijuana, has been given the honor now. All Civilian legal cases will now be supervised from the smaller city.
The Court in Tijuana lost its prominence after all the local judges were killed in a helicopter crash last week. A spokesman of the Federal Government told the press at the conference, that "The civilian court in Roserita can handle all cases in Tijuana as well. In the foreseeable future, the governor of Baja California has no intention of reversing the decision from Mexico City.
( OOC: IRL, Roserita has about 56.000 inhabitants, for our purposes we'll use the higher number of 520.000 inhabitants. Just a small change, which shouldn't be so difficult to incorporate as we all play Vampires, which isn't like RL either. )
