For those of you who haven't heard of the practice of bluebooking, it's essentially where you write narratively what happens to your character off-screen (for those of you who are curious, the name of the process comes from the blue books used for college exams, and it was first described in an old Champions supplement called Strike Force, I believe). These are downtime activities that your character is doing that do not involve interaction with other PC. At times some of these scenes as ST we will pick up on and see that they need to be defined and flushed out more by a ST run scene in which we will set up and do with you. Bluebooking is an excellent way to get insight into your character, and to initiate or carry out subplots that wouldn't really work in a real-time chat environment. Bluebooking promotes character development. It becomes and further extension of your background as well.
There is no requirement to bluebook and never will be. However, to promote bluebooking within the game we offer the option to earn extra XP threw bluebookings.
