The Old Sabbat Cathedral ….

Hidden near the University, an old abandoned catholic cathedral still exists on a large estate like grounds. The old celestial building built out of the clays of the earth and the stone hand placed and mortared together. The Spanish Style of the old World calls out to one’s soul as you look upon the building a feeling of evil overcomes you with a grip. With clay tile style roof, it gave a majestic but eerie presence. Rumor of the townspeople the place was haunted with the souls of the dead, no one venture back there anymore as the air seems to grow thicker upon approach. The grass around the place has an ashen look to it as it holds onto life by a mere thread giving one the feeling of death lies waiting for you. The trees near the building only add to it‘s dominance as a place of evil as they raise up with dead like ominous white branches. It is a place God seems to have forgotten or abandoned long ago.

The grounds are surrounded by an 8ft iron gate, which grows a thorny shrubbery, with sections of old stone like built in cornerstones or guard houses. Five Guard houses seem to surround the place in a pentagon style formation, it is rumored that a walled in tunnel exists underground that connects each point. The main Front Gate has stone built up pillars on both sides with hideous stone like gargoyles that sit atop of them looking down the lane as if a visual warning to all those who walk through the gate. The old steeple can be seen from there of the building well hid up the hill some and the inner stone walls that surround the place.

Several hundred years ago a family from the old world of Europe was said to have purchased the place. Lights can be seen on occasion in the building and it does seem to bustle with activity from time to time as grand costume balls have been said to be put on in the place with invitations given out to the elite of the community of Mexico.

Upon entry to the Cathedral, there is a small drive-way enclosure where one is searched and detained a guard house exists to the right just inside, which houses one of the security control stations for the estate. Moving then up the drive through the stone-walls one can park in the underground bunker area and enter the main cathedral complex. A few outer buildings exist, one holds a training area including an inside shooting range which has been made soundproof to the outside world. A servants building is also located on the outside a three level building that seems to hold the families of those who are in servitude to the ominous manor occupants. A Garage type building which seems to have a kennel of some sort along the back side of it with several framed in sections to house the war dogs that are released to protect the grounds.

Entry into the Main Building from the underground bunker area, opens up into a vast entry way and one finds two guards permanently stationed there at all times. One can see a stairway to the right leads up to the upper levels of the complex, and to the left a red set of doors that lead to the main rooms of the complex.

The Ritual Room – the Cathedral and Ball Room of the Sabbat:

However in the center before the new visitor is a huge wooden set of doors with iron clad giant hinges; three exists in total with two smaller ones to the right and left, these lead to the ritual rooms of the Sabbat. Upon opening them one is lead into a set of stairs that step down into a pit style arena, with three sets of benches made right into the stone structure of the place with the crimson blood red cushions and the majestic dark wood and stone combination. The shadows seem to bend inward from the corners of the room as one is slowly drawn downward to the base of this area …a flat stone like floor opens up across the way. To the left a baptismal insert in the stone flooring is lifted up with a series of three steps, above it three sets of chains extend down from the ceiling with hooks of some type on the end. The stonework on the floor seems stained with the blood of the sacrifices of old. To the right another pit exists this one seems to burn with the eternal fires of hell as the flames change from red, orange, blue and green flickering with increasing and decreasing intensity.

Before one while standing in the open stone like flat area, large enough to hold maybe 100 people is the alter area …lined with spears that seem to rise up from the ground. It is not uncommon to see various heads of the enemy shoved down onto them with blood dripping down onto the floor area. The steps have a crimson blood red carpet that splits and allows for two wide entrances to the upper pulpit area. Looking upwards A huge Sabbatical is huge, a cross-hung upside down with a ring of thorns that entwine and move back up. Flags adorn the back of this at the top with the symbols of every clan that makes up the Sabbat displayed in royal fashion with the clan Lasombra and Tzimice Flag residing in the center. An Aquarium of sorts build in to the one side with driftwood and inside resides some of the deadliest Snakes known to mankind. A giant stone like alter polished and adorned in gold and black marble is centered under the huge Sabbatical. To the left Exists a slightly raised platform with the Majestic set of 5 chairs ..one for the Archbishop and the two bishops of Tijuanna centered , the two remaining for high priest and honored guest or other who is aiding in the ceremony at hand.

The ritual room has seating capacity in the arena area for some 300 and has held almost 500 to full capacity. Behind the wall of the cathedral a series of offices can be found used by the Priests, along with a storage area used to hold instruments required for the various Auctoritas and Ignoblis Ritae of the Sabbat.

The Ritual Room opens to the left through a series of arches and three large metal door swings outward…opening up into a massive Ball Room. Several Round tables are situated all along the outside allowing for 12 members to sit comfortably at each which allows most packs the ability to sit together for grand events. A stage is located to the one side where musicians and plays can be enacted and Sermons of Caine frequently are held in this massive room. The high vaulted ceilings, perfect for hanging chains down for blood bags to be situated over the tables for the guests and members of the Sect of Tijuana.

The Main First Floor – Through the Red Doors:

Main Meeting Room:

Upon entering the red doors a long corridor exists that has a guard stationed every 6 feet along it, the corridor is wide with a display of various artworks and weaponry of long ago battles, a medieval feel to it as you walk along. Some nights a fog like substance covers the floor giving an eerie overcast to the silent long stretch. No footsteps seem to be heard as one walks along this place and to those filled with the beast it lulls one into a peaceful state if that is possible these dark nights. At the end of the corridor one finds themselves in a stately sized room with knights of old positioned as statues bearing their armor on platforms. Small Couches and chairs are situated in U like formations, about 4 of them spanning across the open room, nice for allowing a whole pack to gather in a location. A bar area exists in the center of this with servants ready to meet the needs of those gathered. A Recreation area exists to the left with a few pool tables, a Lane for bowling, and a few interesting areas for human knife throwing is played, basically an area to gather and socialize.

The Library:

Off to the there are 2 exits that lead to another corridor …one room is vast and set up with never ending rows of books. Several small reading areas can be found in here some even located around a few fireplaces giving an old world comfortable atmosphere. Up towards the front 4 round tables exists …and one long table that is centered made of thick walnut with high back chairs from a century long past , the table top a black like marble swirled with the wisdom of ages.

A small room exists off of this room that contains a few computers and more modern devices used to gather information. The walls have a built in L style shelf with 6 computer stations with are networked and a series of firewalls and protection in place to not allow any trace back to the user. As it has become an interesting mode of hunting to lure in prey via the chat lines and things available upon the internet. A conversance table that would fit 10 people around it is centered in this room.

The Laboratory Facility:

Further down the hallway one finds themselves able to enter into a guarded section where one is cleared for entrance by yet two more guards. This are has a series of rooms hidden in the back end of the main building. One room is spotless clean, stainless steel with the look of an operating room like atmosphere, refrigeration unit to the side, metal cabinets even a sink area all in stainless. A large dome like metal light from the ceiling appears over the operating table in the middle of the room. Life monitoring machines on roll out crafted metal stands all seem to have a specific place designed for them along the wall. Jars of various human specimens, hearts, brains, embryos of various stages of development even a place for various medicines, potions and chemicals stored in the metal cabinets.

The Torture Room …..exists across the hall, shackles on the long mortared wall; it almost looks more for show with every ancient apparatus located there. Iron masks and various weapons used in the late centuries for torture seem to have a mounted spot up on the walls. A large Cabinet at the one end opens to display various whips, chains and other interesting devices. An electric chair at the one end seems to have a prized uplifted place, equipped with its own generator and switches to control the amount of current.

The Greenhouse…. Has a look to it with various growing plants of which most have long forgotten in the real world. As the herbs and roots needed for oils and potions are grown in a botanical garden tenderly taken care of by the revenant families and used for what all one can only wonder. Some plants in this area eat the flesh of humans as a part of their diet and one must be careful where they venture within this greenhouse.

The Cellar …… can be accessed from this Laboratory area, leading downward to the first level where several cells are located for guests that have a special place only the cathedral can require. As you move down the steps past the cells and locked doors all private chambers for the torture victims and experiments of the fiends. A ritual pit exists down in the bellows with the old stone steps formed in a horse shoe, this is the place where several rituals have been performed and many never return from the depths if taken there to be tested and tried for the sins they have committed against the Sabbat.

The Armory…… exists down in the basement area, stocked with various weapons of destruction and hidden behind a solid metal door. This room is opened for weaponry to be handed out to the Sect in times of War …be it a hunt of an elder or a planned siege on a nearby city or even if it were ever needed to defend the city of Tijuana.

The Second Floor:

A Music Room …acoustically built used as a practice area for the performances done in the Grand Ball Room area. Various instruments storage areas are here as well as a library section for sheet music. A recording studio is also located in the vicinity.

The Artistic Center ….A room for theatrical practice is also up on the second floor, with a costume room and various props and things used in prior plays done at the Sabbat Manor. A room set up for painting and scene building …sculpting and various other activities of the artistically inclined can be indulged.

Various boarding rooms set up for musical and theatrical guests are also located on the second floor as well. Each Room equipped with the basics and self contained living quarters.

The Third Floor:

The Security Room …Includes the central hub of communication for the guards. A monitoring system of the entire estate grounds, linked to hidden cameras and voice sensitive relays to document events. This area is heavily guarded and only those with high rank are permitted entrance.

The Arch Bishops Office…. A nice sized room which has a desk built up onto a platform allowing the Arch Bishop to look down on those called to the office, with a few chairs placed on the other side. . The room all done with Mahogany woodwork, a wall of books, various weapons displayed on the walls along with some interesting artwork. A small sitting area for informal gatherings and a wet bar …

A side room with a hidden entrance is used for the Arch Bishop’s Templar and personal guards , more of a waiting room like atmosphere equipped with a monitor of the halls and activities to insure the privacy of the Arch Bishop while still allowing the ability to protect him at a moments notice.

The Upper Conference Room…. Adjoining Arch Bishop’s office is a conference room used for more serious matters of discussion in a formal setting. A wide screen is available for presentations as needed. The conference table is in the form of a T with the seating of the Bishops at the one end.

The Bishops Offices: Several nice sized rooms located on the floor for each of them as well, include a small area for informal gatherings, personal library storage area and decorated to the desires of each of them.

The Royal Chambers:

A hidden passage off of the main floor moves into the secure basement quarters, this area has several chambers including one For the Arch Bishop and the Bishops of Tijuana. Four guest chambers are also made available for incoming invited guests, childes and other incoming visitors deserving the respect of the accommodations.

A large communal area is also down in this private reclusive section of the manor as sometimes it is desirable for a more private means of entertainment. What exactly goes on very few seem to speak of though most guests that stay in Tijuana never leave without fond memories of the experience.
